Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date:
Try SmartProfit free for 14 days. Cancel before billing, or tell us within 72 hours of an unintended subscription charge for a full refund.
1. A clear subscription promise
Our standard SmartProfit subscription offer includes a 14-day free trial. Paid billing starts only after you explicitly approve the plan price and recurring billing terms. The trial dates, price, currency and renewal interval must be shown before approval.
Cancel before the trial ends and no SmartProfit subscription fee will be charged. If an unintended subscription charge has already occurred, notify us within 72 hours of that charge and we will refund the full applicable SmartProfit subscription charge. This applies to the first paid charge and to renewals.
This policy is provided by SMART COD FORM S.R.L., CUI 55681023, Trade Register number J2026057225005, EUID ROONRC.J2026057225005, Str. Principala 203 C, Hintesti, Arges, Romania. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. How to cancel
Use the subscription or billing controls available for the account and billing platform through which you subscribed. You may also email support@getsmartprofit.com from your account email, with the subject “SmartProfit subscription cancellation”, identifying your store or account and stating that you want to cancel.
If you cannot access the controls, a clearly identified cancellation email counts from when we receive it. The time of your request does not depend on how quickly support replies. We may ask for proportionate verification if necessary to protect the account, but do not need your password or payment card details.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless you also receive a refund, paid access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for. Disconnecting an integration does not by itself cancel billing unless the billing platform expressly links those actions. Follow the billing platform’s cancellation instructions or contact us.
3. Our 72-hour unintended-charge refund
If you did not intend to start or renew a paid subscription, send a refund request to support@getsmartprofit.com within 72 hours from the relevant subscription charge. Simply tell us that the charge was unintended, identify the account or store, and provide the charge date and transaction or invoice reference if available.
A request received within that window is eligible for a full refund of the applicable SmartProfit subscription charge. The promise applies both to an initial charge after a trial and to a recurring renewal. You do not have to prove that the account was unused, and we do not deduct a SmartProfit handling or cancellation fee.
We may request only the information reasonably needed to identify the charge, verify your authority and prevent duplicate refunds. Contacting us within the window preserves the request even if the verification or our response takes longer. This policy does not permit fraudulent or duplicate recovery of the same charge.
An approved refund cancels the subscription’s future renewal and ends the paid access covered by the refunded charge. If you need an export before paid access ends, tell us with your request. Account deletion is a separate process described on our Data Deletion page.
4. How refunds are processed
We will process an approved voluntary refund without undue delay and within 10 business days, subject to any shorter period required by law. We will confirm the outcome through the account contact details.
The refund follows the original billing route and, where supported, the original payment method. If Shopify or another platform collected the charge, its refund process applies to the original billing route. If it cannot return money directly, we will explain the available options and agree an appropriate refund arrangement. A billing credit will substitute for a monetary refund only with your agreement and where lawful. Mandatory monetary refund rights remain unaffected.
The date a refund or credit becomes visible depends on the billing platform, bank and payment method. We cannot guarantee that it will reach a bank account within three days. We refund the amount of the applicable SmartProfit subscription charge, including tax charged on it where applicable, without a SmartProfit refund fee. Currency movements or charges applied independently by your bank are outside our control.
5. Other refunds and billing errors
Outside the 72-hour voluntary refund window, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period and does not create a right to a partial or prorated refund. This rule is subject to mandatory law and the service remedies set out in our Terms.
Tell us about an unauthorised charge, duplicate charge or incorrect billing amount whenever you discover it. The 72-hour window does not limit our obligation to correct a billing error or refund a charge we were not entitled to collect. If a material failure means we cannot provide the contracted service, the remedies available under the Terms and applicable law still apply.
This policy covers SmartProfit subscription charges. It does not refund advertising spend, merchant transactions, taxes paid to authorities, other apps or external services, which remain subject to the relevant provider’s rules. That does not limit a separate legal claim you may have.
6. Mandatory rights remain protected
SmartProfit is intended for business and professional use. If you qualify as a consumer under applicable law, this voluntary policy is additional to your statutory rights. Those rights may include withdrawal from an online service contract within 14 days of its conclusion, and remedies for a non-conforming service. Applicable exceptions, express requests to begin performance and lawful proportional charges are assessed under the relevant law, not assumed from the fact that a free trial exists.
The 14-day free trial and 72-hour voluntary refund do not replace, shorten or waive any statutory withdrawal period, refund deadline, remedy or complaint right. Where a mandatory refund deadline is shorter than our voluntary processing period, the mandatory deadline applies.
You can exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal right by emailing an unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw, with your name, account email and the relevant contract or subscription date. A statement sent before the legal deadline is sufficient; you do not have to use a special form. We will acknowledge receipt by email.
If useful, use: “To SMART COD FORM S.R.L., support@getsmartprofit.com: I give notice that I withdraw from my SmartProfit service contract concluded on [date]. Name: [name]. Account email/store: [details]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” The brackets indicate information you should supply, not additional conditions on your legal rights.
7. Help with a charge
Email support@getsmartprofit.com with your account email, store or workspace identifier, charge date and a short explanation. Include an invoice or transaction reference if available. Please do not send a full card number, security code, password or API token.
You can ask us to cancel and refund in the same message. A support conversation does not restrict any lawful right to contact your payment provider, bring a claim or complain to a competent authority. Please avoid seeking or retaining two refunds for the same charge.
